L’exposition Microsculpture Portraits d’insectes signés Levon Biss présente pour la première fois en France, le travail du photographe britannique Levon Biss qui pose un regard neuf et hors du commun sur les insectes. Née de la collaboration entre le photographe et le Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de l’Université d’Oxford cette série de 22 portraits agrandis superbement éclairés immortalise à grande échelle et en haute résolution la forme microscopique et les adaptations évolutives des insectes. Autre particularité de cette exposition, le Domaine départemental en présentant une vingtaine de photographies en très grand format dans le parc, offre à chacun.e la possibilité de suivre un parcours en plein air au coeur d’une nature accueillante. Une exposition inédite à vivre en toute quiétude.

The Microsculpture Insect Portraits by Levon Biss exhibition presents for the first time in France, the work of British photographer Levon Biss, who takes a fresh and unusual look at insects. Born from the collaboration between the photographer and the Museum of Natural History of the University of Oxford, this series of 22 magnificently illuminated enlarged portraits immortalizes on a large scale and in high resolution the microscopic form and the evolutionary adaptations of insects. Another special feature of this exhibition, the Departmental Estate, presenting around twenty very large-format photographs in the park, offers everyone the opportunity to follow an outdoor route in the heart of welcoming nature. A unique exhibition to be enjoyed in peace.
